Comfort and support - I was worried that when I got these, they would be clunkier than they looked in the picture - and while they are a bit, it's in tune with that style that is out now. Very comfortable, and good support (though I have very high arches and still use an insert for that), and isn't constricting when my feet swell after spending all day on them. I normally wear a 9.5, had to return for a 9, but I could probably even get by with an 8.5 in these, so they do seem to run a little big. Nice and roomy in the toe area also.
