Brooks shoes seem to fit short and I had to go up 1 1/2 sizes to even get close to a good fit that gave me enough room in the toe box. The shoes were very stiff and I felt that I was slapping the ground with every stride. I have done a 3 mile run and a 4 mile run and I doubt I will do another. I was looking for an alternative to the NB 1063 and this was not it. The cushioning was also not what Brooks represented; very hard.
